life's kind of uhh peaceful right now. too peaceful sometimes. butbut am not complaining. at least it's not unpleasant or anything. -nods-
so anyway, saturday's performance at sentosa. haven't been to sentosa for a long long time. bus was driving into sentosa when i suddenly realized that the last time i had seen sentosa was probably when i was in p1 or p2. like 8 years ago. that's a long time.
then we went to the viewing gallery, put down our stuff and then went to the musical fountain to run through formation. had totally forgotten what the musical fountain looked like. so anyway, it was drizzling and the stage was completely wet and totally unfit for dancing on, so we just left our shoes on and ran through formation without dancing. 4 groups performing. 1st one from vhs, 2nd from swiss cottage, 3rd one was rgs malay dance and last one was us, international dance.
after that went back to the viewing gallery and changed into costumes. and then i realized i forgot to bring a strapless bra. or nipple tape. or some other kind of protection. uh-oh. ><" butbut luckily anzie brought a roll of surgical tape. wheee.
and then after the costume, i started struggling with my hair. cuz i couldn't tie it or put it into a bun. so i had to use loads of pins and mousse and hair spray to keep in the loose ends. and ms kum was like "why you cut it so short?" arghhh.
butbut at least the hair was nothing compared to the make-up. -smirks- we did our own foundation and blush and lipstick, but ms kum did the eye make-up for all of us and it was like all her masterpieces had a certain trend. lots of people ended up with a high arched right eyebrow and a low straight left eyebrow. and the right eye looked much bigger compared to the left eye. including me. gave myself a shock when i looked into the mirror. ^^" and almost everyone said they look screwed after ms kum was done with them. so shuang wei was like "we better not let ms kum lose confidence. or else she'll just continue getting worse and worse." -grins-
performance itself wasn't too bad. just dat we were kind of trembling when we were standing by. butbut no major screw-ups and my "skirt" didn't fall off like it did during syf. ahaha. that's got to be an improvement righttt?
then mum and dad and sis were watching the performance and they stayed to watch the musical fountain while i went back to the viewing gallery to change back and take off make-up and hair stuff. then we went to ri to see how william tan was getting along with his marathon. haha.
and it was like damn retarded cuz we arrived just in time to see william tan go to the toilet. --" that was his 1st break in 4 hours since the start of the marathon, dats what i heard. and then i was just standing there when a few hands tapped me on the shoulder. got quite a shock until i realized it was jane, anna, shuli and ting wen. wheeee. butbut anna's first words were "you scandalous!" haha not fair okayyyyy. i wasn't doing anything wrong. i mean what's so scandalous about standing there and looking at people running on the track? i wasn't like flirting with a guy or anything. -nods-
oh yahhh andand what was most funny was that jane then spotted joey sitting on some steps, right in front of me. arghhh i can't believe i was that blur. i was right behind her and i dint see her. lala. so we just stood around complaining about how stupid it was to come here and see william tan wheel into the toilet. and he took quite long too. butbut jane went to run when he came out.
shucks i vowed to sleep early tonight and it's already past midnight.
if only fairy tales could come true.
