syf is overrr!!! (=
went to school with my hair in 2 plaits today, so that it would be easier to pin up. first person who asked me abt it was anna.
"why you plait your hair?"
"for syf."
"chehh i thought you xin xue lai chao. (roughly means "want to do something wild on impulse")."

anyway, left after 2nd block for the gym. spent like 2 hours plus struggling with my hair and the horrible white paint we had to apply onto our faces, necks, shoulders, arms, back and feet. and the demons (that's me included) wore this mask on the back of our heads, so it looked as if we were two-faced. maybe the only thing laughable about it was the reaction from students and teachers who saw us when we ran from the gym to the hall for a last rehearsal. They were staring and staring as if they couldn't believe their eyes, and we were like "this is embarrassing. let's just keep our faces passive." imagine if we had smiled at them. they'd probably have freaked out. =PpP
a lot of our leotards were slipping all the way down during the rehearsal until we were showing all our cleavage, and since the syf judges penalize heavily for umm...indecent exposure, we had to find shorter and firmer straps and then we were all like frantically sewing the straps onto our leotards while we were on the bus to kallang theatre. no easy task since we couldn't even thread the needle with the bus moving and jerking, let alone sew the strap on without poking ourselves.
i so screwed up the dance. shan't elaborate. bahhh. ><>
results coming out on friday.
